This is a great trip for people coming for the first time to Morocco or to the North of the Kingdom of Morocco. 3 cities in 3 days including the beautiful Medinas of Tangier, Chechaouen and Asilah.

Day 1: Tangier - Asilah - Tangier 

Start the day with a sightseeing tour in the modern city of Tangier, crossing Mohammed VI and Mohammed V Street. Get to the Marchane area and stop at the Kasbah to start the walking tour. Discover some of the major monuments of Tangier in the Medina (the old city). Visit the Kasbah (15th century fortification) following the itinerary of Matisse. Explore a 17th century Sultan’s palace which is now a museum including contemporary art and antiques including Roman remains. Leave the Kasbah and get into the labyrinth streets and alleyways of the medina. Visit the Anglo Saxon church of St Andrew, the Gran Socco and the Petit Socco. After lunch, cross the richest area of Tangier that is called ‘California’ and enjoy passing by villas and palaces including the king’s palace and celebrities homes. Stop at Cape Spartel, considered to be the northest western point of Africa, it is the exact point where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet. A stop to take pictures of the camels, and maybe experience a ride. Then visit the Caves of Hercules (dating from the Neolithic era).

Continue to the small Atlantic Ocean city of Asilah that offers a colorful labyrinth of artistically painted houses, where each street takes you to another that has a whole different story to tell. In this fortified Portuguese village 46 Km south of Tangier, we will visit the Bab Homar, the Berber Kasbah, the Palace of Raisouli (depending on its opening days) and enjoy the relaxing ambiance and quaint of the town. Return to Tangier.

Day 2: Excursion to Chefchoauen 

This day will be dedicated to visiting the two serene cities of Tetouan and Chefchaouen. A safe haven for those searching for some clean and fresh air.

Depart from Tangier to the “White Bird” located in the Rif mountains. Tetouan is a unique combination of Arab and Andalusian cultures and is on the World Heritage list of the UNESCO. Visit the new town where you will see the Hassan 2nd Square, the governor’s palace, the Spanish garden, and the first North African mosque. Enter the medina through Bab el okla and continue on for a walking tour of the town. This tour will include the Jewish section, the Andalusian section, the Berber market, Ghersa el Kbira and a visit to the Ethnographic and Craft Museums (depends on the opening days). Leave the old town, stop for refreshment and then continue to Chefchaouen, where we will be having lunch.Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco. It is a typical Berber Village. A tour of this blue and white village includes the famous square ‘Uta Hammam’ and the medina, and also the waterfalls of ‘Ras El Ma’.

Day 3: CHFCHOAUEN- DEPARTURE 

After breakfast, we will be heading back to Tangier for departure.
