When booking a tour with us, you will have to follow easy and smooth steps. In order to make this process even easier for you, you will expect to go through the following:
In the morning, you will meet up with your local and expert tour guide whose love for the city is unlimited and always willing to meticulously share the history and culture of Tangier with guests. You will pass through the Mohamed V Boulevard to discover the city’s European architectures as Tangier, contrasting to the rest of the Moroccan cities, had a status of an International Zone since 1923 and therefore was ruled by eight Western countries. Drive via the French, Spanish, Belgian and Dutch districts until you reach the California district in which is considered as the richest area zone in Tangier where fancy villas, mansions of Moroccans and foreigners, and palaces inclusive of the governor’s house, the Royal residence are located.
Arrive at one of the main attractive points of Tangier, the Spartel Cape which is located in the furthest point in the direction of the North Western point in Africa and where both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. The lighthouse was constructed in 1864 after 4 years of debates between diplomats of nine Western authorities, USA and the Moroccan government. The lighthouse remains standing majestically to expose historic periods of political instabilities. Currently, the area has been turned into an appealing spot being swarmed by local and foreigner visitors.
Drive along the Atlantic Coast to the Caves of Hercules dating from the Neolithic era, with a stop in the way to enjoy a camel ride on the sandy beach.
Drive towards the magnificent Kasbah perched uphill and overlooking the strait of Gibraltar and the Medina. It was a resident for Sultans since the fifteenth century.
Make a stop at the Kasbah Museum that was a resident of Moroccan Sultans since the seventeenth century. The museum includes a good sized selection of antiquities mostly composed of Roman remains. Walk through the small alleys down to the animated Medina with colorful shops, bazaars, energetic souks and distinctive way of life. At the end of the tour, your guide will escort you back to the port of or to any other location of your choice in Tangier.
